lesson learned
Today I got to work with the art teacher. That woman does too much between teaching classes, preparing kids for graduation and helping with a show that’s tomorrow night. I’m glad I came in today because now she has less to do. It’s nice to help others especially when the kids see and appreciate the work that goes into it too. The first graders are putting on skits tomorrow about shapes, so I was helping with making their hats (cutting out the shapes and painting them). Took about 2-3 hours to do it, and as kids kept coming in and out the classroom a few actually said it looked nice. That’s rewarding enough. Was definitely one of the most productive days I’ve had yet!
